Work Days

Randy Ripley emailed a few people earlier this week about a work day on Saturday.  If you're not on his list and would like to know about the next work day, email him: randyripley AT att DOT net

Charlotte lives on Coachlight and is a Master Gardener.  Be sure to ask Charlotte all your gardening questions!


Heather lives on Old Forge, at Coppersmith.  She has a black dog (I think it's a lab?) who's name is Fido.  You've probably seen them walking in Sturbridge.


Randy Ripley, the mastermind and architect behind this project, lives on Tarrytown.  He worked like a crazy man this weekend.   Above he's disassembling the bleachers, below I asked him to pose on the tractor that was used on Sunday to remove more brush.  Note cute girl, that's Caroline Majors and also lives on Tarrytown with her brother and parents.





Above: Clay Paul and Randy Ripley work to connect the wood chipper to Randy's truck.  Apparently the wood chipper worked overtime this weekend and was quite loud.

In the next couple of pictures you can see the damage work that was done this weekend.  The gardens were transformed!  Lots of shade on the periphery was removed.


And there is still plenty of work to be done.


Because I (Julie Majors) only showed up briefly to take pictures, I did not get pictures of all the workers.
